Micronutrient Testing

Stop guessing which nutrients your child is missing.

Micronutrient testing takes the overwhelm out of picky eating — because instead of stressing about every food your child won't touch, we figure out exactly which nutrients their body needs most.

A laboratory test report comparing current and previous serum levels of various nutrients and minerals, WBC and RBC counts, and metabolism markers with reference ranges, indicating increase or decrease in levels.
A medical lab report table displaying serum and blood cell counts for various nutrients, including Vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, B5, C, D3, D, E, K1, K2, and Folate, with current, previous, and reference ranges.
ADD-ON TO THE NOURISHED PATHWAY

This isn't a standalone test. It's a tool that makes the whole program work better.

Micronutrient testing is available as an add-on to The Nourished Pathway — and for kids who are picky eaters, it's one of the most useful tools we have.

Here's why: most parents come in feeling overwhelmed by the long list of foods their child won't eat. It's easy to spiral into "they're not getting enough of anything."

But that's not actually how it works.

Every child has their own nutritional gaps — and this test tells us exactly what your child needs more of, so we can stop guessing and start targeting. Instead of "eat more meat and veggies," we know whether it's iron, zinc, vitamin D, omega-3s, or something else entirely. Then we build a plan around that.

That means we can:

  • Modify the foods your child already accepts to work harder nutritionally

  • Supplement strategically, only where it's actually needed

  • Prioritize which new foods are worth working toward first — based on your child's specific gaps, not a generic list

HOW IT WORKS

Simple process, real answers.

1. Add testing at the start of your program
When you complete your intake paperwork, you'll see an option to add micronutrient testing. The earlier you add it, the more time we have to get results back before your second session — which is when we'll review everything together and build your child's personalized plan around what we find.

2. I order the test for your child
No figuring out lab orders on your own. I got you!

3. Blood draw at a local lab
A simple blood draw — your child goes to a local lab at a time that works for you. You can also use a mobile phlebotomist who can come to the comfort of your home for the draw.

4. We review results together at session 2
I walk you through what we found, what it means for your child specifically, and exactly how we're going to address it.
