Frequently Asked Questions

  • If something feels off with how your child eats, grows, or feels in their body, you're in the right place. Some of the most common reasons families come to me:

    • Picky eating and mealtime struggles (selective eating, food refusal, mealtime battles)

    • Feeding disorders (PFD & ARFID)

    • Digestive concerns (chronic constipation, reflux, bloating, GI discomfort)

    • Poor growth or weight gain concerns

    • Tube feeding and tube weaning

    • Nutrient deficiencies (especially in kids with very limited diets)

    • Neurodivergent kids who need extra support around food (ADHD, autism)

    • General nutrition optimization for kids who could use a little extra support

If you're not sure whether your child's situation fits, that's exactly what a clarity call is for!

  • Most nutrition support focuses on what your child is eating. I look at why eating feels hard in the first place. My background spans both feeding therapy (the how of building skills and comfort with food) and functional nutrition (the why behind GI issues, nutrient deficiencies, and growth concerns), which means I'm connecting dots that often get missed when families are bouncing between specialists.

But honestly, the biggest difference is the relationship. Over three months, I get to know your family, routines, mealtimes, and what actually feels realistic for you & your life. I'm not handing you a plan and sending you on your way. I'm here to figure out what's actually going on, stay in your corner, and help you build a path forward that works for your specific kid. That relationship and continuity is what makes this work when everything else hasn't.

  • Yes. I work with all ages - infants through college age.

Feeding and digestive concerns look different at every stage of development, and the approach is always adjusted to your child’s age, growth needs, and developmental level.

I may work with parents only for younger kids (ages 0-11) and may work directly with older kids (12+) if they are ready to change. Read this blog post for more details.

  • Not every child needs testing, and I'll never recommend it just to recommend it. But if your child has a very limited diet, ongoing GI symptoms like chronic constipation or bloating, low energy, poor growth, or if we're not seeing the progress we'd expect, testing can give us a real window into what's happening inside their body that standard labs miss.

We'll talk through whether it makes sense for your child during our first session together, and labs can be added at any time.

  • Most likely, yes. Over the course of my career, I've worked with 900+ families navigating everything from picky eating and selective eating disorders (PFD & ARFID) to tube feeding and tube weaning, nutrient deficiencies, poor growth, and GI concerns like chronic constipation. I've supported neurodivergent kids (ADHD, autism) and neurotypical kids alike. If your child is struggling with food in any way, chances are it's something I've seen before... and something we can work through together.

  • Most families meet monthly, though the cadence can flex based on your child's needs and what feels right for you. If things are moving quickly or you want more touchpoints, we can increase frequency. If life gets busy, we can adjust. The Nourished Pathway includes three sessions over three months, and packages must be used within six months.

  • The Nourished Pathway is $540 and includes a comprehensive assessment, 3 months of guided support, a customized nutrition plan, and text support between sessions. You can find the full breakdown of what's included on the Services page.

If functional testing is recommended, stool/microbiome testing is an additional $650 and micronutrient testing is an additional $600. These are optional add-ons, not required for every family.

Individual sessions are available, though most families find the package approach leads to more meaningful, lasting progress.

    Sessions are billable to HSA/FSA.

  • Nourished Pediatrics is an out-of-network provider.

I can provide, upon request, a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

    Diagnosis code: z71.3

    CPT Codes:

    • Initial evaluation: 97802

    • Follow up: 97803

Testing is not reimbursable, since they do not have CPT codes associated with them.

  • It depends on what we're working on.

What I can tell you is that most families start to feel less overwhelmed pretty immediately, because they finally have a clear picture of what's going on and a plan that actually makes sense for their kid.

At the end of the initial evaluation, you'll have a roadmap for what the next few sessions will look like and what we'll be prioritizing.

When functional testing is part of the picture, it speeds things up significantly. Instead of trying strategies and seeing what sticks, we have a targeted roadmap from the start, so we're not guessing.

Some wins come faster. More complex cases take longer. What I can promise is that this won't end with a generic handout and a "good luck, see you in 6 months"... or even worse, "just wait and see."

  • Yes! Check out my Google listing, the homepage of my website, and the highlight on my Instagram - tons of reviews there. Here's what families are saying:

"I now have a regular, non medicated pooper. Something I didn't know I could be so excited about."

"She worked with us to get micronutrient testing completed so we could make sure we were targeting his nutrition deficiencies first."

    "I can't recommend her enough."

"She thinks outside the box, meets your kid where they are at, and looks at their whole health not just their growth curve."

"She is unbelievably supportive and goes above and beyond for her patients"

"My only sadness is we are doing so well that we've graduated from sessions."
